Happy New Year! We are delighted to invite you to the first FoMC general meeting of 2024, coinciding with the Eurosonic Noorderslag Festival (ESNS) on Friday, January 19.

During this hybrid meeting, we’ll cover key updates and discuss the future plans of the Federation. The agenda includes a review of the 2023 results, discussions on the organizational structure for 2024, and a recap of the Roundtable Tour concept with a call for interested hosts.

You are kindly invited to attend the FoMC General Assembly during ESNS25. An opportunity to meet in person again, dive into behind-the-scenes insights from member conferences, and share the FoMC’s plans for 2025

Time: 12:15 – 13:15
Where: Poortershoes, Groningen, NL (just a 4-minute walk from ESNS’ main conference location De Oosterpoort)

  • We will start with a short introduction by Dino Lupelli (Linecheck)
  • The meeting will feature two behind-the-scenes presentations from member conferences:
    one on the framework of ESNS (by Anna van Nunen, Managing Director)
    and one on BIME (by Isabel Villanueva Benito, Head of Contents and Strategy).
  • Additionally, the FoMC roadmap for 2025, outlining key activities and focus areas, will be shared by Georges Perot (Athens Music Week) and Peter Åstedt (Future Echoes). We will share this roadmap with you via email a couple of days prior to the meeting.

This will be an in-person-only meeting (no hybrid or online option). FoMC members who don’t have a registration yet, are eligible for a discounted ESNS delegate pass at the medium rate of €460,-. You can purchase your pass through this link.

This General Assembly is an invite-only meeting for FoMC members, but with an open invitation for interested representatives of Music Conferences and Showcase Festivals; they can RSVP by sending an email to  no later than Tuesday, January 14th.
