The third Music Moves Europe: Dialogue On Music session will take place this Thursday, January 18, from 10 am to 12 pm, at ESNS, the annual four-day showcase festival and music conference across venues in Groningen, the Netherlands.

All delegates are invited to join the discussion that should truly concern every single participant in the music ecosystem: the weather.
In between floods, storms and excessive heat waves, how can the European music sector combat climate change? Let’s take a look at the weather forecast from the experts to see what we can expect.

In 3 interactive parts we’re discussing what is happening now and what will the weather in Europe will look like in a hundred years .

     

      • 10.00-10.10: Addressing the challenges of climate change (short introduction by Robert Meijerink, opening by Susanne Hollmann)

      • 10.10-10.40: Weather Forecast (panel with Bob van Oort, Tim van Hattum, moderator Linea Svensson)

      • 10.40-11.30: Let’s talk about it (audience, digital attendees and moderator Linea Svensson)

      • 11.30-12.00: Conclusion: Findings and learnings + Roadbook for the future (Moderator/host: Linnea Svensson)

    What can be done, both at the individual and organizational levels, and what are the potential next steps and bottlenecks for the future?
